Most of the students have been able to successfully subscribe to the feed via iTunes. Once the evaluation piece is in place we can prepare to go forward. The lecture content will come to me a few days prior to the posting date so it can be reviewed and readied for the feed. The plan is to begin with the start of the fall semester.
For those few non-Duke listeners out there, we are conducting an experiment involving using alternate forms of lecture delivery to facilitate learning in distance-based students. All material is the property of the Duke NI Program and/or the lecturer and cannot be reused without written permission. Aside from that, enjoy the program! Thanks to some quick responses by the Libsyn support staff and many years of "clean living", the feed, the url, and the iTunes listing are all working perfectly. Now to get on with the real purpose of this virtual existance. THANKS Libsyn!

OK. The iTunes listing is live. The Forum access thing is solved. Now all that remains is the linking of my www.igeekrn.com url to this blog. This is going fairly smooth. Most of my troubles can be traced back to some mild impatience and some marginally vague directions.

Well, the feed is working, iPodder gets it on Mac and PC. Netnewswire gets it on Mac. Waiting for Apple to include me in the list of available podcasts at this time. The new url redirect thing is going as planned. Thanks to the Libsyn crew for the clear setup instructions and a really great product!
