Health Services Program Planning and Outcomes Analysis

An analysis of theory and practice in the design, implementation, and evaluation of the outcomes of health services programs within an integrated health care system. From a health services planning paradigm, students conduct organizational and community needs assessments, determine priorities, plan and monitor implementation, manage change, evaluate outcomes, and provide planning reports.

This course introduced me to the complexities of setting up a health promotion program. I crafted a proposal represented in this paper, which described a project aimed at addressing the growing problem of childhood obesity.
