This course is designed to facilitate the design and development of informatics solutions for real-world problems of providing safe patient care. Domain experts (health care providers) will learn tools and strategies for building data-to-outcome information systems that build on teamwork concepts, as well as, knowledge of informatics issues and standards, in developing a single-user (or small group) personal digital assistant (PDA) and database application for tracking patient safety data in real-world domain.
My project for this class included specifiying, modeling, and building an MS Access database (Note: This is a large file) with the front-end form and subform for data entry.
